We are CO2 Extraction Limited. We specialise in the extraction of high-value active compounds from botanicals using Super Critical Fluid Extraction (SFCE). We are based in Morecambe, Lancashire and are establishing an eco extraction hub in the North West (UK). We work in partnership with Lancaster University and are able to offer both R&D and Commercial scale extraction capability.
The services we offer to clients are in three main categories:
- We enable growers to diversify their revenue streams by working with them to identify potential lucrative natural compounds and the crops that contain them.
- We collaborate with industry on innovative and novel processes to extract naturally sourced bio-active compounds from botanicals and other naturally occurring feedstocks.
- Working with clients to prove concept at a laboratory level and then trialling scale up all the way to commercial viability – all in house.
